ABOUT

I’m Dermot O’Hare, a guitarist and music teacher based in Knocknacarra, Galway. I’ve been involved in music for over 40 years and have a degree in Music and Music Technology.

I offer relaxed, one-to-one guitar lessons, with beginners especially welcome. Lessons are tailored to the individual, whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time, returning to it after a few years, or simply want some help developing your playing.

My aim is to make learning the guitar enjoyable and practical, while giving each student a solid understanding of the instrument and the music they want to play.
